1. Identify priority problems for research 

2. Design simple research studies including : 

-Review and Analysis of literature and other available information 

- Formulation of research objectives 

- Selection of appropriate research design 

- Determination of sample size and type 

-Selection of data collection and analysis method 

-Develop data collection tools 

3. Implement simple research studies 

4. Prepare research proposals and research reports
