- State the difft types of psychiatric problems affecting the aging population and its management 
- Develop a plan of care that address the needs of the older adults 
- Explain the care of older adults in critical conditions 
- Understand the use of common medications in care of older adults 
- Discuss the nutritional management for elderly patients
- Apply proper communcation techniques in handling elderly patients 
- Understand the importance of continuity of care by the home health staff
- Describe safe practices when caring an older adult with disability
