1. Identify the different types of VADs and indications
2. Differentiate between tunneled and non-tunneled CVC and its  indication
3. Recognize the complications of VADs
4. Familiarize with the equipment's and preparations for each different VAD procedure
5. Implement infection control protocols to prevent CR-BSI and CLABSI
6. Demonstrate the competency to prevent VADs complications
7. Employ evidence-based practice for quality of care and patients safety
