Objectives:

• Describe and explain the necessary information about physics of the vascular ultrasound. 
• Identify the normal sonographic appearance of the targeted vessel during ultrasound imaging.
• Increase the participant’s knowledge and skills to better perform vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Describe and demonstrate techniques and protocols for performing an excellent vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Describe and discuss the common pitfalls during performing the vascular ultrasound examination and how to avoid it.
• Identify the sonographic appearance of commonly seen abnormalities of the targeted vessel.
• List the capabilities and limitations of vascular ultrasound imaging.
• Describe and discuss the different types of spectrum.
• Increase the participant knowledge about spectral analysis.
