Objectives:

•  Define the scope and purpose of evaluation 
•  Apply basic program evaluation concepts and methods in health and health education contexts, particularly in context relevant to learner’s settings 
•  Describe the program evaluation standards and observe them in the planning and implementation of evaluation projects 
•  Develop data collection instruments that are contemporary and valid for evaluating 
•  Identify the ethical, political, social and interpersonal issues related to faculty and program evaluation and identify the strategies for dealing with them
• Develop a vision, mission and model for overall program evaluation including faculty development that is aligned with the goals of an institutions and supports educational management and leadership
